A modern replacement for an ageing internal reporting tool, designed around secure document authoring and approval workflows.

  • Government
  • Secure workflows
  • Incremental migration

Problem

A New Zealand government organisation relied on an ageing internal tool to produce regular reporting. Over time, this had been supplemented with manual workarounds using Word templates and email-based approval processes, creating inefficiencies and increasing operational risk.

Approach

We worked closely with the organisation to design and build a modern replacement tailored to their reporting workflows and security requirements. To minimise disruption, the new platform was introduced incrementally, running alongside the legacy system while individual use cases were migrated in stages.

Outcome

The new system now supports structured authoring, review, and approval of reports, with significantly reduced manual effort. The platform is being deployed more broadly to support similar reporting needs across multiple organisations.

Palantir Foundry Application Development

Consolidating multiple systems and manual processes into a single operational application within Foundry.

  • Enterprise
  • Palantir Foundry
  • System consolidation

Problem

Following the procurement of Palantir Foundry, a New Zealand organisation needed to consolidate four separate systems and a range of manual processes into a single, coherent application.

Approach

We supported the organisation through initial discovery and design, conducting in-depth interviews with users and technical stakeholders to understand existing processes and pain points. Based on this, we designed an application architecture aligned with Foundry best practices.

Outcome

We are currently working with the organisation to iteratively implement the solution, progressively replacing legacy systems and manual workflows. The application is being delivered in stages to ensure early value while supporting long-term transformation.

Alek – AI-Enabled Speech Assistance

An accessibility-focused product using predictive text and language models to accelerate real-world communication.

  • Product
  • AI integration
  • Mobile + web

Problem

Existing speech assistance tools often rely on static phrase banks, limiting how quickly users can communicate in dynamic, real-world conversations.

Approach

We initiated and led the discovery, design, and development of Alek — an AI-enabled speech assistance application that uses predictive text and language models to accelerate communication. The product was designed to run across mobile, tablet, and web platforms.

Outcome

Alek was launched publicly and is actively used today. The project demonstrates our capability across mobile application development, AI integration, and end-to-end product delivery.
